And the Catholic Summer Reading Winners Are...
Posted by Ian on 22 June 2012 07:34 AM

Not decided yet! You still have a week to vote for this year's titles. Right now there is plenty of room for changes in the adult voting results but the teen results are pretty spread out.

Until June 29th we are taking votes to see which three books you would like to be the official titles for our program this year. Then we will produce study guides for those titles for you to use at your parish or other group throughout the summer. So be sure to vote for your favorite titles.

While you are waiting for the winners to be announced, take 15% off almost all of our books!

This year for the first time we have multiple coloring sheets for saints of North America for kids to color. Younger kids can also fill out a record sheet with the Catholic titles they read during the summer and send it back to us for a gift card or St. Joseph picture books.

Current Catholic Summer Reading Update
Posted by Ian on 21 June 2012 10:25 PM

We are down to our last week of voting for the Catholic Summer Reading titles! The adult category has a pretty tight race for the top three while the teen category seems to be heading towards a runaway win. Don't forget to vote if you haven't already.

You can read more about each title at the Catholic Summer Reading site and also browse our recent posts from publishers and authors recommending their titles.

Our adult title poll is a close race between The Power and the Glory, At the Heart of the Gospel, The Pope and the CEO and Style, Sex and Substance with a bunch of titles very close behind.

The top three teen titles, Story of a Soul, The Hobbit and Screwtape Letters,  seem to almost have a lock on the win with Pride and Prejudice almost able to pull in to the top three.

If you don't like the Catholic Summer Reading voting results, you still have time to vote!

Catholic Summer Reading is Back
Posted by Ian on 17 June 2012 06:43 AM

It's time for the annual Catholic Summer Reading program! Aquinas and More has been organizing the program since 2007 and we want to invite you to take part again this year.

Until June 29th we are taking votes to see which three books you would like to be the official titles for our program this year. Then we will produce study guides for those titles for you to use at your parish or other group throughout the summer. So be sure to vote for your favorite titles.

This year for the first time we have multiple coloring sheets for saints of North America for kids to color. Younger kids can also fill out a record sheet with the Catholic titles they read during the summer and send it back to us for a gift card or St. Joseph picture books.

To celebrate the start of our program, you can take 15% off of over 5,000 Catholic books through July.
