My Daily Bread
Confraternity of the Precious Blood

An indispensable little pocket sized book to carry with you anywhere for spiritual reading, meditation and prayer. You can open it at any point and receive the wisdom and comfort of Christ, the Friend, the Teacher and Brother. He speaks to the reader as a beloved child of God, helping him to deepen his faith and trust in God. You will read and learn about the principles and practice of the spiritual life. Christ does not always tell us what we want to hear, but, we receive the messages we need to hear in order to follow Him in this life.

I just love this book and have purchased many additional copies to pass along to friends and family or to anyone who might feel discouraged or tempted by those vices that lead us away from God. Also great for someone seeking to grow closer in their relationship with Christ.

Many customers have highly praised this book and I pass that recommendation along to you.

Magnificat Magazine Subscription

Since the removal of the missalettes from so many churches and the background noises that can be so distracting during Mass, the monthly Magnificat Magazine is a wonderful resource providing not only daily mass readings, but also morning and evening prayer and a meditation for each day. You will also find information on the Saint of the day.

A great way to get in your daily reading of the Word of God. The Order of the Mass can be found midway through each missal highlighted by a different colored page border making it very easy to locate the parts of the Mass. Some of the prayers include both the English and Latin translations.

Affordable and convenient with substantial savings on one or two year subscriptions and available in Spanish. I have been purchasing monthly copies for a few months now and have included it as part of my daily spiritual meditation and prayer time.

Also, makes a great gift!

Lourdes - DVD

If you are looking for a dramatic presentation on Lourdes that is substantially different from the rest, this is the movie for you. The action takes place in the life a modern day journalist and his wife and switches back in time to the days of one of his ancestors living at the time of Bernadette Soubirous. It is very interesting to watch as the scenes move you from the present to the past and then back again.

You will follow the lives of journalist Bernard, his ancestor Henri and Bernadette. Without giving the the plot away, the movie is very well done, easy to follow, well acted and different. I really enjoyed the movie and am glad it has now been made available for purchase in the U.S. In Italian, with English subtitles.

Abandonment to Divine Providence
Jean-Pierre de Caussade

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

"Do you seem to be running into one closed door after another? Have I got a book for you!

An absolute treasure of a spiritual classic meant to be read over and over again! I have read this amazing book 2 times already and expect to return to it many more times throughout my life as my own spirituality advances. Through this book, I have learned the importance of living in the spirituality of the present moment.

Easy to read with each chapter divided into several sections allowing the reader to pick up the book even for just a short time to read one or two sections within a chapter for meditation and prayer--

If you find yourself in a state of confusion and your life not going as you had planned, why not turn it over to God the Father for perfect direction?"

“For I know well the plans I have in mind for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for woe! Plans to give you a future full of hope. When you call me, when you go to pray to me, I will listen to you. When you look for me, you will find me. Yes, when you seek me with all your heart , you will find me with you, says the Lord, and I will change your lot..” Jer. 29: 11-14

Diary of St. Faustina

O Eternal Love, You command Your Sacred Image to be painted and reveal to us the inconceivable fount of mercy, You bless whoever approaches Your rays, and a soul all black will turn into snow.” From the Diary Notebook I

"Discover the intimate relationship that a simple and uneducated Polish nun shared with Christ. A truly beautiful look at the immense love and mercy that Christ offers to each soul. The Diary itself contains six notebooks which immerse us in a journey of remarkable holiness of this young girl ever obedient to God's call in her life.

This book is another favorite of mine as I can pick it up anytime and read an excerpt or two for inspiration and meditation. I have found this book to be a real comfort during difficult times. An essential addition to any home or parish library."

Christian Courtship in an Oversexed World
T.G. Morrow

"Courtship? What's that? More than likely, this would be the response of today's younger generation, a group of adolescents growing up in a period when morality might very well be considered a “four letter word”.

Introducing his book with the definition of courtship, Fr. Morrow brilliantly addresses the topics of singleness, chastity in dating, Christian courtship strategies, finding the right person, engagement and marriage. He challenges the reader to radically follow the way of Christ in today's “modern” world as the way to true happiness in this life.

A timely book that carries an appeal to any single person choosing to live their faith. Whether you are 18 years old or find yourself single at 50 years old, you will find valuable information on maintaining your virtue and respect in a day and age when these quality traits are frowned upon. Highly recommended. An indispensable resource for today's singleton."
