Coffee! Now THAT'S the way to start my morning

Do you wish you could avoid the crazy price of coffee at your local coffee shop?

Do you wish you could find delicious coffee that you could brew at home?

Wouldn't it be great if you could buy coffee and support Catholics at the same time?

Now you can.

In 2003 a group of men felt called by the Holy spirit to form a religious community. They settled in Cody, Wyoming, just a few miles east of Yellowstone National Park.

Carmelite Monks


The Carmelites of the Immaculate Heart didn't take the traditional route of making beer and liquors to raise funds. Instead, they decided to roast coffee. Their coffee is known as Mystic Monk Coffee. And what are they doing with the funds they raise? Building a gorgeous chapel and monastery.

This morning I finally opened a bag of the Thanksgiving blend whole bean coffee. Yes, I'm running behind.

Typically, I drink decaf, but the great thing about Mystic Monk coffee is that the caffeinated  coffee isn't bitter and doesn't bother my stomach.

This blend almost has a hint of dark chocolate and is now my favorite non-flavored blend.

We have several blends available in both caffeinated and decaf, including the ever-popular Jingle Bell Java and Royal Rum Pecan.
